North County Land Trust (NCLT) is looking for committed volunteers who can help monitor our trails and participate in trail stewardship work days. Volunteer opportunities include walking the trails and performing light maintenance (clearing small sticks/branches from the trails) and letting NCLT know if larger issues arise (water flooding a trail/downed tree/etc.) on a monthly basis, participation in one-off stewardship work days including building or maintaining trails, native planting days, and trash cleanups, and assistance building kiosks, bridges, and other trail infrastructure. These volunteer positions are integral to maintaining safe, navigable trails and would help NCLT respond to more quickly to trail issues. Conservation Areas are located in Fitchburg, Templeton, Gardner, Ashburnham, Ashby, Westminster, Lunenburg, Princeton, Townsend, Winchendon, and Hubbardston, MA.
