United Way of North Central Massachusetts Volunteer Center uses reasonable commercial efforts to avoid disclosure of information which is confidential, privileged or nonpublic other than in accordance with this privacy policy.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

United Way of North Central Massachusetts Volunteer Center gathers personally identifiable data that is submitted when an individual completes a User Registration and submits it to the Volunteer Center website. This information is used solely by United Way of North Central Massachusetts (UWNCM) Volunteer Center to allow the User to respond to the volunteer opportunities posted by the agencies that are registered on the Volunteer Center site; email information  about volunteer opportunities for UWNCM large volunteer events such as the Day of Caring and Combat Hunger, our meal packaging program; email updated or corrected information; send followup surveys and a note of thanks. Your response to a volunteer opportunity will generate an email to the agency that posted the opportunity. The agency will contact you about the opportunity.

We are the sole owners of the information collected. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

You may choose to receive UWNCM monthly newsletter by selecting the option in your User account setup. You will not receive multiple emails from UWNCM. You may "Opt Out" by emailing Fran at fran@uwncm.org or contact her with any questions, comments or concerns.

We may collect your IP (Internet Protocol) address to administer our web site. When a web browser or email application requests a web page or email from another computer on the Internet, it automatically gives that computer the address where it should send the information. This is called the computer's "IP address". This "address" does not contain any personally identifiable information.
