Town and Country Apartments in Fitchburg/Leominster is sponsoring a Heroes Against Hunger meal packaging event on Thursday, June 11. There are currently volunteer positions available to be part of this great event! 20,000 nutritious meals are packaged and distributed to the local food pantries in the N. Central region.
There are two teams for registration. Team Two is the Cleanup Crew and is scheduled from 10:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Team Two volunteers help clean up the assembly lines, helps with putting equipment away and packaging meals. The meal packaging takes approximately two hours and is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Team One is a separate volunteer opportunity listing. Team One is the Setup Crew and is scheduled from 9:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you wish to volunteer for that time slot as alternative, please register for that team.
