National Thank Your Mentor Day is the final day of National Mentor Month and is a great opportunity to show appreciation for the mentor's dedication and time.
The UWNCM Partnering for Literacy program was established in 2017 in partnership with the Leominster Public Schools and our corporate partner, AIS, Inc. (Affordable Interior Systems). The academic mentoring program is in its 3rd year at Priest St. School. 37 mentors and 63 kindergarten children at the Priest St. School have been paired as mentors and mentees since 2017.
UWNCM salutes the Partnering for Literacy mentors and offers our sincere gratitude for their time and commitment to assisting children along their academic path.
