Catholic Charities Worcester County - North County Office

Who We Are

Catholic Charities Worcester County is committed to strengthening families and to serving individuals in need, regardless of racial, ethnic, cultural, or religious origins, ability to pay, or mental, physical, or developmental challenges. We believe that every person has the right to life, housing, food, shelter, clothing, and health care, and that all should be enabled to participate in the decisions that vitally affect them.

What We Do

Founded in 1951 by Bishop Wright, CCWC initially aimed to create a network of care in Worcester County. It has expanded to offer 21 diverse programs and services across 9 locations, benefiting 62 cities and towns. With area offices in Leominster, Milford, Southbridge, and Worcester, CCWC provides essential assistance such as SNAP enrollment, food pantries, rental/utility aid, immigration services, substance use recovery, emergency shelter, employment programs, and day programs for adults with disabilities. Our satellite sites in Athol, Shelburne Falls, Greenfield, and Milford, offer homecare services.
