The Bridge provides services for: adults with severe mental illness or substance abuse challenges; youth with serious emotional or behavioral issues and their families; adults with intellectual disabilities; gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender youth and their families. Services include residential care, supported housing, outreach and education.
What We Do
The Bridge is a vital leader in providing comprehensive services in collaboration with multitalentedd and diversely challenged individuals and their families. Building on more than 35 years of experience, we advocate for individuals to become full partners in the experience of lifelong learning, meaningful relationships, and community living. The Bridge was founded in 1973 and is funded through contracts with the state Department of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities,and Public Health Mass Rehabilitation, Department of Education, United Way, and fundraising.
