Who We Are

Aging Services of North Central Massachusetts is a state funded, non-profit agency helping community elders and disabled persons remain independent in their own homes with safety and dignity. Home Care has case managers and nurses who develop and monitor care plans for our clients. Home Care has a Caregiver Specialist who addresses the needs of caregivers. Home Care has 2 volunteer programs; a Friendly Visitor program and a Money Management program. In the Friendly Visitor program, volunteers are asked to visited isolated elders and provide companionship. Money Management volunteers assist elders and disabled persons with check writing and balancing of their checkbook.

What We Do

ASNCM provides in home services and other support services to community elders and disabled persons to avoid, postpone or eliminate nursing home placement or hospitalization. ASNCM has been involved in helping elders and others remain independent in their own homes for over 30 years. Home Care is governed by a Board of Directors. The Executive Office of Elder Affairs sets the regulations for all the Home Care programs.
