The Conservation Commission is a seven-member commission, the members of which are appointed to staggered three-year terms by the Select Board.
What We Do
The Conservation Commission enforces the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Lunenburg Wetlands Protection By-law. The Commission also has care and custody of over 24 publicly accessible properties that are permanently protected for conservation and passive recreation.
