United Way Youth Venture is looking for someone who can translate written documents from English to Spanish. Examples of these documents include a parent/guardian permission form and a student/Venture Team business plan.
About the organization:
United Way Youth Venture encourages young people ages 8-22 to become Changemakers, inspiring them to initiate and create positive, lasting change in their communities. When young people learn early in life that they are powerful and capable of leading social change, they are more likely to continue to lead throughout their lives.
Changemaking projects are youth-created and youth-led. Students take something they are passionate about and address a community need, from building skate parks to starting tutoring clubs. Committed Changemakers can take the extra steps to launch a Venture and request start-up seed funding. All Changemakers learn the important skills of leadership, teamwork, entrepreneurship and empathy as well as other valuable life skills.
