The LUK Mentoring Program seeks adults 18 years and older to be a positive role model for a local youth at a specific site (Plumley Village or Great Brook Valley in Worcester). Volunteer mentors spend one hour per week doing a variety of activities offered on site, which may include academic help.
Matches are currently meeting in person following CDC, agency and program site guidelines.
These mentoring relationships meet during the academic year. Mentors are trained prior to being matched to a mentee and are supported by mentoring staff throughout the mentoring relationship.
