We are seeking 20-25 volunteers to help at a financial literacy event for high school students that will take place at Fitchburg State University. The volunteers will assist at various "monthly expense" tables while high school students plan and execute a monthly budget. Groups of students will visit various tables, including housing, utilities, clothing, food, etc. Volunteers will sit with a table expert and assist with student budget expenses. Tables will have predetermined costs which volunteers will follow. This will be a great way to introduce students to upcoming real life expenses.
Lunch will be included for volunteers. Please let us know if you have any allergies.
