Trinity Chapel

We are a traditional, open and welcoming church within the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. Our members come from Shirley, Townsend, Harvard, Lunenburg and Pepperell. We are small and we struggle financially, but we seek to show forth God's grace in vital and creative ways.
We are a small and dedicated Christian community that seeks to live out our baptismal commitment to follow Christ in service to our community and in being a loving and supportive spiritual home for all who come through our doors. Trinity Chapel was founded in the mid 1800s and the church in Shirley Center was built in the early 1900s. In the early days it was served by seminarians who came in on Sunday, but more recently it has been served by one half-time Episcopal priest. Women have served as clergy at Trinity since the 1980s. In 2009 Trinity formed a partnership with St. David's Church in Pepperell. The two churches share clergy, outreach projects and educational activities.
