Who We Are
We have restrooms for those in need, picnic tables and shady apple trees to enjoy a break. The Visitor Center is chock full of pamphlets of local places to stay, eat and play at. Our friendly Visitor Center Staff will help them find there way, and show them where to enjoy the local flavor and can tell them the history of Johnny Appleseed (John Chapman). We are the gateway to North Central Ma and are here to give folks information on what to do and where to go when they are here.
What We Do
The Johnny Appleseed Visitor Center: Located between exits 35 and 34 westbound on Rt. 2 at the Lancaster/Leominster line. We are so much more than just a Rest Area. Become one of our friendly Visitor Center Staff and help the public learn about the area we love. We are here to show and tell what you can do to enjoy the local flavor of our region. Do you love to talk about where you live than this is the place for you. We have guest from around the world stopping in and looking for directions and information and asking Where are we! There are two shift a day morning and afternoon. We are open 7 days a week and need to staff the Center every day. We have shift that are available week days and week ends.
