Littleton Community Farm

LCF was founded on the belief that access to healthy food is a basic human right; LCF engages the community and serves our central hunger relief mission. We grow nutrient-dense mixed vegetables with best organic practices on 2.8 acres with .5 to be developed. Our work accomplishes the goal of reducing food insecurity and provides free access to nutrient-dense fresh vegetables, for an equitable local food system. Our target population is low to moderate income households in Nashoba Valley, North Central MA and the city of Lowell. The food donations support households with at least 51% of beneficiaries who are low to moderate income or 80% of area median income. LCF has grown and donated over 32,000 lbs. providing 128,000 servings of vegetables across all crops over the past seven years
Littleton Community Farm operates on 3.2 acres of farmland leased from the New England Forestry Foundation. We grow nutrient-dense mixed vegetables with organic practices through No-Till methods. No-Till farming will eventually make the farm a net capturer of carbon by pulling carbon from the atmosphere and storing in soil.
