Opportunities From: United Way of North Central Massachusetts Volunteer Center

Volunteer: Make a friend. Make a difference. Be a MENTOR!!

LUK Inc. Mentoring Program matches caring community members with youth in the Central Massachusetts area. Mentors care about helping young people achieve their potential and discover their strengths. By sharing fun activities and exposing a youth to new experiences, a mentor encourages positive choices, promotes high self-esteem, supports academic achievement and introduces the youth to new ideas.

Community based mentors are able to meet their mentee's in person following CDC/agency guidelines, if all participants are in agreement. We are also accepting volunteer mentors who would like to build a mentoring relationship remotely.

Mentors receive training prior to being matched and are supported throughout their mentoring relationship. Mentoring Specialists suggest activities and help set goals for the mentee and mentor to work towards.
