Volunteer: Monthly Food Bank TripThe core of what we do in Leominster is the food pantry. We are looking for dedicated individuals with large vehicles (box trucks, vans, pick up trucks or suv's) who are willing to go to the Worcester County Food Bank in Shrewsbury once / month to pick up food and bring it back to the food pantry in Leominster. The goal is to put together a team of people who are committed to do this once a month in order to support the efforts of the food pantry. The amount of food varies per trip with the largest being around 8,000 pounds. If anyone has access to a box truck that would be ideal, but it can be done with multiple large personal vehicles.
